How to get the badges:

- Earn a new gemstone badge every week depending on the number of days each week you contribute: 2, 3, 4, or 5 days
- Share the gemstone you’re pursuing in a dedicated Discussions thread and encourage two others by liking their post!
- A special badge will be awarded to the Top 25 contributors of each bucket at the end of the event
- The Top 3 contributors of each bucket will also get to pick a gift from our gift vault!
**Before working on a show, please be sure to message the Channel Manager or Moderator for your language to let them know you’d like to contribute!**

Seg-Subtember 2023 FAQs
A: Seg-Subtember 2023 is a new community event that runs for 4 weeks during the month of September where Contributors can earn a new badge every week depending on the number of days they make contributions: 2 days, 3 days, 4 days, or 5 days. The Top 25 Contributors in each day range will also receive a special badge and the Top 3 within each day range will get to pick a gift from the Viki gift vault!
A: Contributions are the segments and/or subtitles made by the Viki Contributor Community.
A: Badges are special emblems that are proudly displayed on your profile page. You can earn one by achieving certain milestones, or participating in events such as Seg-Subtember! Read more about badges here.
A: You are welcome to choose to do either segments or subtitles – or you can do both!
A: No. You can contribute on any of the days of your choosing, these do not have to be consecutive.
A: Yes, you can contribute to more than one show! Check the titles above if you’re looking for new shows.

Quality of subtitles continue to be Viki’s top priority. Please adhere to Viki Contributor Guidelines during Seg-Subtember 2023. Contributions that are found to be in violation of Viki guidelines and policies will not be counted towards your Seg-Subtember progress and your account may be penalized.
